This painting was from the second portrait workshop that I took under Kyle Stuckey, a marvelous painter, portrait artist and teacher, as well as a great guy. He taught us that he tries to capture an attitude in his model's poses, and he certainly got that with this beautiful woman. I loved painting her, but had the most fun painting her gorgeous hair.
